Lancing College
Lancing College, founded in 1848, proudly stands high on a hill with stunning views overlooking the coastal resort of Brighton. The famous gothic chapel, with its air of magic and mystery, is of national importance, and dominates a campus extending across some 550 acres / 220 hectares of beautiful Sussex countryside. The College is built around two quadrangles in a similar style to the Oxford and Cambridge university colleges, and boasts some excellent facilities.
English
There are 20 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Enrichment, and Research Project. Students also have the option of enrolling in the Cambridge B2 & C1 Advanced Exam course (13-17 year-olds only) subject to a satisfactory online placement test at the time of booking.
Activities
There is a full programme including lessons and a wide range of sports, activities, clubs and Sports Academy options to choose from. There is evening social entertainment and there are three excursions per week.
Accommodation
Lancing offers separate accommodation on campus for boys and girls. Most bedrooms have 1-2 beds with shared bathrooms; however, some larger bedrooms are also available. Most boarding houses have their own communal space for students to relax.

20 hours academic preparation per week
5 levels are available from A2 (Pre-Intermediate) to C2 (Proficiency). Entry test on Monday with a speaking, grammar and writing component. Complete Beginners and Beginners are not accepted.
There is a full programme of lessons, sports, activities, social events and excursions, all of which are mandatory and included in the fee.
