Established in 2000, Bright World is one of the UK's leading Guardianship Organisations and has placed thousands of students into UK boarding schools since its foundation. Bright World operates from its Head Office in Sussex UK and has over 30 Local Coordinators across the UK.

In 2021, 2022, 2023 and again in 2024, Bright World won the Guardianship Provider category at the StudyTravel Secondary Awards. Voted for by schools and educational agents, the awards celebrate outstanding services in the International education industry.

Overseas parents sending a child to a UK boarding school will be asked by the school and the authorities to provide the name of a UK based guardian who is responsible for your child as you are not living in the UK.  They will be sent a form to complete when confirming their place where they need to nominate who they have chosen.

Parents who do not have a friend or family member who lives in the UK often turn to the services of a guardianship organisation such as Bright World Guardianships.

Unlike many other guardianship organisations, we are fully accredited by AEGIS (Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students) to Gold standard. This means our practises and processes have been thoroughly inspected and audited by this important organisation and we can therefore guarantee that we will act in your child’s best interest at all times.

We are committed to safeguarding student welfare and undertake rigorous checks on all who work with us and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

At Bright World we have a clear Child Protection strategy and try to find ways to "do what others do but to do it better". We understand the importance of keeping children safe, happy and comfortable and we only choose host families we would send our own children to stay with.

All Bright World employees and host families undertake a safeguarding training course. Drivers are also offered safeguarding awareness training.

We are also proud to have a Mental Health Support plan and Emergency Chaperone service to further enhance the services we can provide.
