Easter Host Family stay for international students

Easter host family stay

Cory and student

All students enrolled with Bright World Guardianships have the option of staying with their host family for the Easter break. In most cases, this will be the same family that they usually stay with for half terms and exeat weekends throughout the year. This is a lovely way to spend the Easter holidays. It can be a nice, warm environment for students who may be feeling unhappy about not spending the holidays with their own family.

Our team of highly trained Guardianship Care Managers will be able to suggest alternative solutions for students who prefer a residential option. All overseas students must first enrol onto our guardianship programme to access our network of carefully screened host families, and can do so by filling out the form linked below.

host families during the Covid-19 pandemic

For the reassurance of parents and agents overseas, all of our host families have signed up for our Host Family Covid-19 Safe Plan. This means that they will know what to do, should a student fall ill with Covid-19 symptoms while they are staying with them. Families will also be carrying out enhanced deep cleaning. Host family accommodation will be in single rooms, with students only sharing if they arrive from the same household or if the room is of a sufficient size for social distancing to be possible.

We are, as always, really grateful to our dedicated host families, who are continuing to care for students and give them a home-from-home experience this Easter time. This year is very different for everyone and there are lots of challenges for us all. Our host families have risen to the challenge and are committed to looking after our children, even in the unlikely event that they become unwell with Covid-19. A big thank you from all of us.
