guardianship fees - choose your plan

Yes, we understand that different families' needs can vary. We therefore have two options for parents to choose from, Essential and Full. For those clients who want us to arrange airport transfers and/or regular host family stays, we recommend Full guardianship and we usually charge an initial deposit of £1,500. If you do not require either of these services you should opt for Essential Guardianship and we can just charge a nominal fee of £200 per term to cover emergency situations. This is fully refundable if not spent.

Bright World does not offer the provision of mobile phones as students always bring their own telephone with them. We do not include any mobile phone expenses. We can offer help and advice on purchasing of sim cards for our students but these are not included in the cost of guardianship.

Students usually bring their own debit or credit card for getting cash out or paying for goods online or in shops. The Bright World disbursements fund is not usually used to manage pocket money. In unexpected circumstances, we can arrange for cash to be given to students or monies transferred to their account from ours if they are stuck without any funds for their half term holiday or exeat weekend. Parents just need to give authority and ask their Guardianship Care Manager to arrange this.

No, academic advice is not part of our programme. If parents or students feel they need assistance with choosing academic subjects or any other academic issues then Bright World can get in touch with their school and arrange a full consultation with the student, parent and tutor.

Bright World does not help students to arrange work experience placements but we are happy to liaise with the school on parents' behalf and contact the careers department so they can assist.

Unfortunately, we do not allow termly instalments. All fees should be paid in advance as per the invoice that we issue when you register.

Whilst there is no official deadline, we can only issue your Letter of Undertaking once we have received payment. This document will be needed to apply for your child’s UK Visa and to comply with UK immigration.

We require one term's notice in lieu of fees. You will then receive a refund of your fees for qualifying terms.

We use Flywire to handle our payments. You will receive a link to your Flywire invoice which you can pay for by online transfer or credit card using our secure online platform.
