Chinese counselling service

For Chinese-speaking Bright World Guardianships clients, we can offer a counselling and advice service from native-speakers who work for Bright World.

Grace Wang and Hai Li are based near Beijing and are our Regional Managers. They have many years of experience in working with Bright World and with students and parents who join the British Education system. They work closely with our Head Office team of Guardianship Care Managers to ensure that parents can communicate effectively in their own language in times of need and in emergency situations.

Please refer to the inclusive features below and note that Grace and Hai cannot accept any flight, travel or administrational instructions and these should be passed directly to your Guardianship Care Manager at Head Office. This policy is in place to ensure our high standards and attention to detail are maintained for all clients.

document and school report translation service

Chinese-speaking parents who are on our Chinese Counselling service may also benefit from the translation services that we can offer. At a supplementary cost we are able to assist with the translation of school documents and reports throughout the academic year.

Parents should just send Grace or Hai the document they wish to have translated by email and we will respond with a quotation of how much the work will be and how long it will take. We will then take the amount charged from your expenses fund.

Chinese counselling service fees and inclusive features

£300 per year

plus VAT

  • Email, telephone, qq and wechat communications regarding pastoral matters.

  • Arrangement of translation of documents and delivery to your given email address

  • Service available Mon-Friday 9am - 8pm

additional costs can be added to your Bright World expenses account

  • £95 per 1,000 words

What is not included

please note that the following matters should be dealt with by your Head Office Care Manager.

  • host family arrangements, changes and cancellations

  • transport requests, changes and cancellations

  • flight details and transport requests

  • half term, end of term and exeat notifications - tell your Care Manager what your child is doing please.
