Bright World has been awarded the StudyTravel Guardianship Organisation award for a second year running during a special gala dinner on 25th April 2022.
Introduced last year, this Secondary School Award remains the first and only award that specifically recognises Guardianship Organisations and is voted for by UK boarding schools across the UK and overseas educational consultants worldwide.
The event recognises service by schools, agencies, service providers and associations working in the boarding school sector.

At Bright World, the emphasis is on high standards of safeguarding and customer service. The entire staff team at the office and our Local Coordinators are committed to the continued success of the organisation.
This award is testament to that because we have won it through schools and overseas agencies voting for us as their preferred guardianship company. Winning this award means that our efforts to do the best we can and offer a great service have paid off and we are recognised for our excellence.

This year Bright World entered its 22nd year of operation. When Lana started the company in 2000, guardianship was a little known extra service that some parents asked for and not all schools insisted on. Over the years, the importance of good guardianship has increased and overseas parents are now increasingly aware of the importance of safe provision for their children while they are in the UK but not in school.
Similarly, schools are now more and more insistent that a UK guardian needs to meet certain criteria. This month, new boarding standards are also set to increase the need for schools to make sure their international students have professional, accredited guardianship in place.
Guardianship has come so far as an industry and we are so delighted that StudyTravel has recognised the industry as worthy of its own award in the Secondary School Awards. Being the first company to win the first award for our industry last year meant everything to us. We are very proud and happy to win again for a second year.
