Bright World has teamed up with Kings Education who is offering a superb option at Easter for Bright World Guardianship students who are not travelling home for the holidays. Students on our programme can choose a fully residential programme for up to 19 nights at Caterham School in Surrey, UK.
Kings has been established for 60 years and Kings' Young Learners Team, who are operating this programme, has been running successful courses for young students for many decades. Their professional team is focused on delivering the very best experience for your child.
Caterham School is one of the top UK boarding schools and is based just south of London in the Harestone Valley in the Surrey Hills. The school has a stunning 200 acre campus which includes sports fields, woodland, high ropes course and outdoor learning centre.
The traditional Victorian architecture at the school is complemented with purpose built facilities such as a Sports Centre with indoor pool, fitness centre and sports hall.
Caterham also has a new Centre for Performing Arts has two theatres and a dance studio.
Students will live in the high quality boarding accommodation with twin, triple or quad rooms and shared bathrooms.
Rooms will be allocated according to the age of the student. Students are not allowed out on their own and must be supervised at all times by a member of Kings staff.
During these dates, students will benefit from a fully inclusive residential programme that combines time for self study with a programme of excursions and activities. A supervised ‘hang out’ room will be available for anyone opting out of the on-site activities. It is expected that all students should attend the off-site excursions. They will be supervised at all times.
To accommodate any of our guardianship students whose Easter break starts before these dates, the programme can be preceded with a Bright World host family (subject to availability).
Kings Education takes Covid-19 safety and hygiene seriously and measures are in place to keep students as safe as possible.
Any student who tests positive for Covid-19 will be taken care of by Kings staff and isolated at the school. Should isolation extend past the end of the programme, they will be moved to another isolation centre and will continue to be taken care of by Kings staff.
