a night out in celebration of three significant work anninversaries at Bright World
Last week at Bright World Guardianships, we had the pleasure of celebrating significant milestones for three extraordinary members of our team. These milestones not only represent years of dedication and hard work but also highlight the invaluable contributions each member has made to the growth and success of Bright World. The entire Bright World Head Office Team went out for the evening, transported in a Karaoke Limosine to Brighton for bowling and then a meal at Brighton Marina.
As we look back on their journeys, it's clear that Bright World Guardianships wouldn't be where it is today without them.
James Foster: 20 years of excellence
First and foremost, we celebrated James Foster's 20th anniversary with Bright World. James, the beloved husband of Lana, initially joined our team to set up the University Placements Department. His role quickly evolved, and he became an indispensable part of the organisation as the Commercial Director. Under his guidance, James has overseen all financial aspects of our company, steering us through periods of significant growth and change.
Lana often remarks that she couldn't have done it without James. His unwavering support, both personally and professionally, has been a cornerstone of our success. James's dedication to the team and his role in keeping the financial gears turning smoothly have been vital to our growth. His 20 years with us reflect not just his commitment to excellence but also the profound impact he's had on our journey.
Leanne Poole: a decade of dedication
We also celebrated a decade of hard work and dedication from Leanne Poole, our Senior Accommodation and Travel Manager. Leanne has revolutionised the travel services we offer to our students, ensuring that all taxi companies we partner with are thoroughly trained and screened. This guarantees a safe and secure journey for our students, reflecting our commitment to their well-being.
Lana often highlights Leanne's positivity and hardworking nature. Her "can-do" attitude and ever-present smile have made her an integral part of the Bright World family. Leanne's efforts over the past ten years have not only transformed our travel services but have also reinforced the safety and security that are core to our values.
Simon King: 10 years of successful organisation
Simon King, our Senior Guardianship & Operations Manager, marks another cornerstone of our celebrations. Simon has been instrumental in his role, first as a Guardianship Care Manager managing all aspects of guardianship for our students, and now also in overseeing the coordination of our Local Coordinators across the UK.
His dedication to keeping everything organised ensures that our students are visited in a timely way and are receiving all the support they need. It also ensures that our valuable team of Local Coordinators are well supported and trained in all they do for us.
Simon's tireless work ethic and commitment to our students' welfare have made a significant difference. His role at Bright World is crucial in ensuring that our guardianship services are delivered seamlessly and effectively, reflecting our commitment to excellence and care.
A Unified Future
As we celebrate these milestones, we're reminded of the collective effort and dedication that have shaped Bright World Guardianships. With many of our staff having been with us for more than 10 years, our Team embodies the values and commitment we hold dear, and their contributions have been pivotal in our growth and success.

Next year we will be celebrating 25 years of Bright World - a quarter of a century! Now that really is a milestone so we will be celebrating that for sure.
