Whilst UK boarding schools are breaking up for the Summer Holidays, we look back on one student's incredible half term from earlier this year.
During his Summer half term break with host parent Caroline, we were delighted to hear about all the amazing activities Ibrahim got up to.
Sports fan Ibrahim was thrilled to have the opportunity to sign up to a local football course, run by Millfield Enterprises. Focused on fun, the course set out to improve technical skill through competitions, challenges and freestyle exercises. Including confidence and team building skills, and led by FA qualified coaches, it's no wonder he had such a wonderful time - He even won a football!
During his time off the pitch, Ibrahim had a fun-packed week with his host family. Together they attended the Bath & West Country Show, Haynes Motor Museum, bird sanctuaries, the cinema and so much more!
Host family stays, such as Ibrahim's, give students an excellent opportunity to learn about life here in the UK and a chance get involved in both their own and their host family's interests.
This year's May half term coincided with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee long weekend celebrations.
County Shows provide very traditional days out for our students during the summer.
Ibrahim really enjoyed his 3 day football course during his half term and his host family took him and collected him each day.
